Last week of Early Bird!

Last call for Child in the City 2024 ‘early bird’ offer

The clock is ticking…but you still have time to grab an ‘early bird’ ticket for our forthcoming Child in the City Seminar.

Keep on Moving is the title of our 2024 seminar taking place in Rotterdam from 3-4 December, when child professionals will come together to discuss how cities can better provide play and movement opportunities for children and young people.

If you book your place before the end of this Sunday (19 October), you will benefit from our special early price. The package includes participation in the full two-day programme, including lunch and refreshment breaks.

We have a wide range of keynote presentations and break-out sessions planned, featuring speakers from across a multitude of different disciplines, but all united by a common goal – to improve the lives of children and young people in cities.

Details of our keynote speakers are available here, and they will be joined by speakers such as

Biljana Branković – Biljana is an architect practicing urban design, architecture, interior and educational toys design. She is Assistant Professor of Urban Design at the Faculty of Applied Arts Belgrade and a founder of archiPLAY brand. She also researches urban childhood and design for play in the city.

He leads an applied research portfolio focused on prioritising children and caregivers in housing and child care facilities development, climate policy, and urban design and planning.

For more than 10 years Wim Seghers has been working for the City of Antwerp, and guides nine districts within the city on their play space policy and has advised dozens of designs of playgrounds and guided more than 10 playspaceweb-plans.

For the opportunity to listen to these and many more experts in the field, please visit the seminar website, where you can find the full programme, a list of speakers, and of course the all-important booking details.

See you in Rotterdam!
