Turkey’s Largest Indoor Children’s Play Center Opens
The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality opened Turkey’s largest indoor children’s play center, at over 20,000 square feet, in Kepez on Sunday. Zıp Zıp Park aims to offer children in Antalya a chance to play freely. Mehmet Urcu offered insight into the new play center and stressed that Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Menderes Türel is the mastermind behind the project: “We built the most beautiful children’s park in Antalyaon Türel’s directives,” he said.
Urcu said they built a unique playground after investigating several playgrounds in China and Europe. He noted that the play center in Antalya is built with materials that are best suited for children’s health. “The children’s health is our priority. The play center features 21 playgrounds along with a rope platform that is 8.5 meters high. The park also has a 1,000 square meter trampoline, the second-biggest in Europe. The huge trampoline will be one of the playgrounds that will attract the children’s interest the most.”
Urcu said that they provide security with the latest technology both inside and at the entrance of the park.
Turkey’s biggest children’s play center is designed to offer the best possible time to children and their families. The facility features cafes, an infant care room, infirmary and mosque as well. The play center also aims to help children play outside with a special landscape design. Children will have a chance to enjoy all the activities that the park offers with a TL 10 ($3.44) entrance ticket.
